Reconstruction on terbium

Image size: 120 nm x 120 nm Tunneling bias: red: 0.3 V, green: 1 V, blue: 1.8 V

No, Terbium is not radioactive, although the reconstruction visible in this image resembles the radioactivity warning sign! The origin of this reconstruction are adsorbates ( possibly CO ) from an insufficient degassing process of the evaporant. (see also the describtion for the image "Terbium island")
